(NYSE: GSL) (the “Company”) announced today that it intends to commence an underwritten public offering (the “Offering”) of its Class A common shares, par value $0.01 per share (the “Common Shares”). The net proceeds of the Offering are expected to be used for funding the expansion of the Company’s fleet, general corporate purposes, and working capital.
The Company also intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15 percent (15%) of the Common Shares offered in the Offering.
Jefferies LLC and B. Riley Securities, Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers in the Offering.
