Caring Pathways Acquires Hampton Roads Veterinary Hospice and Integrative Medicine

Caring Pathways announced it has acquired Hampton Roads Veterinary Hospice and Integrative Medicine, a Virginia-based veterinary practice focusing on in-home hospice and palliative care for pets. Caring Pathways is a large family-owned practice based in Denver, and the first practice in the nation to achieve AAHA's Accreditation for end-of-life care.

Hampton Roads Veterinary Hospice was started in 2011 by Dr. Tyler Carmack and over the past 10 years has grown to serve her community with an amazing team. “We recognize there is more to do to meet the needs of our pet community, becoming part of the Caring Pathways family of veterinary practices will help us make crucial veterinary services more available and easier to access,” said Dr. Carmack. She continued, “The excellence of care that both companies have demonstrated over the past decade excited us to see what we can do together in the field of hospice and palliative care.
