PALMDALE, CA / CRWEPRESSRELEASE / September 15, 2015 /Actress, singer-songwriter Tracy Ann Lisa Williams A.K.A “T.A.L” whose single “Talkin ish,” is available for digital download on ITunes and everywhere music is sold, will be performing live at Boardner’s in Los Angeles on Sunday September 20th at 7pm. “Talkin ish” is a deviant from her usual Caribbean style and is one of the songs from her debuting album coming out later this fall. The actress/singer says she won’t be leaving out performing some of her reggae songs.
The actress/singer is quoted as saying, “Singing and working in the studio is a great way for me to give another side of myself as a creator and not just an actress, I write all my songs. I’m hoping to land a solid television/big-screen role too, although there’s all this talk about the “uptick” in ethnic casting, I am not prepared to say ethnic actors are not working or landing roles. I just think you have to work hard; there really aren’t any short cuts. Entertainment both in music and acting is very competitive and you just have to stay sharp, period. You just always have to put your best foot forward.”
Tracy has been in the entertainment business as a performer full-time for more than seven years although she isn’t yet well known and would be considered new as her first appearance was as an extra in the comedy Dumbbells. She also had a leading role in the off Broadway stage play Metro Med. The actress/singer’s most recent appearance was in the comedy Helicopter Mom where she had a small part playing a rapping, prom court nominee.
Tracy’s music video “Talking ish” is on YouTube. More information about the actress/singer can be found on her website including subscribing to her mailing list at: http://www.tracyannlisa.com/.
