PALO ALTO, Calif. / CRWEPRESSRELEASE / March 16, 2016 – Sysorex (NASDAQ: SYRX), a developer of high performance analytics software and solutions today announced that the Army’s Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) has awarded one of its Program Management Support Services – 3 (PMSS3) contract vehicles to Sysorex’s Government Services (SGS) division. SGS is one of the five small businesses among 12 total awardees who will compete for this 5 year, $461 million IDIQ contract. As previously disclosed in filings made by Sysorex with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the award of the contract was originally made in 2014 but was stayed due to legal challenges presented by certain unsuccessful bidders. The contract start date is effective immediately.
“We are pleased to be selected by the PEO EIS to help it meet its operational objectives via the PMSS3 contract,” said Nadir Ali, CEO of Sysorex. “Moreover, as one of just five small businesses to be awarded this contract vehicle, we believe this is recognition of SGS’s ability to execute in support of important federal program management projects like PMSS3.”
Under the terms of the PMSS3, contract awardees will provide the Army’s PEO EIS headquarters, directorates, project/product offices and related organizations with the full range of program management support services in the functional areas of Project/Product Management Support; Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Support; Information Systems Security Support; Contingency Planning Support; Physical Security Support; Enterprise Design, Integration, and Consolidation Support; Systems Operation and Maintenance Support; Integrated Logistics Support; and Other Services and Support for the life cycle activities that are required by the organizations.
