Renewable Energy and Power, Inc. Signs Consulting Agreement for Perovskite Solar Cell Technology License
LAS VEGAS, NV - (NewMediaWire) - October 20, 2015 - Renewable Energy and Power, Inc. (OTC PINK: RBNW), a diversified corporation with markets in energy-saving technologies of both LED lighting and solar cells, is pleased to announce that the Company has signed a Consulting Agreement with G-Wave of San Jose, CA. to negotiate for license to a major university's Perovskite solar cell technology. The company's Sol-Hy division, intends to combine proprietary perovskite and thin film solar cell technology with conventional silicon solar cells to produce the GEN IV Tandem Solar Cell.
"Perovskite solar cells hold promise as a low-cost, highly efficient alternative to conventional semiconductor-based solar cells. We believe that the perovskite solar cell PCE can reach beyond 20% for the single junction and even 30% PCE may eventually be possible when tandem structures are implemented by integrating suitable low bandgap material systems such as CIGS or Si."*
"The new solar cell plans to make use of the Company's patents, technology and equipment to produce a solar cell that has the potential to become the next standard design for high efficiency solar cell manufacturers. The Company intends to license current solar cell producers worldwide with the new Gen IV technology," said CFO Bruce Parsons. "We're planning to launch our Gen IV tandem stacked solar cell design and we anticipate that this new design may eventually supplant the current silicon solar cell panels being produced worldwide."

(REAP) provides to the Green Energy market to make it competitive with fossil fuels by employing proprietary new technologies in combination with existing solar and wind-power electric generation and LED lighting. REAP functions in both domestic and international markets that are in vigorous growth stages with long-term prospects. Federal and state legislation in the United States, including many tax incentives, are driving businesses and consumers to replace older technologies with the new solar and LED alternatives offered by REAP.
Tandem Gen IV solar cell development, along with the Company's LED light design and manufacturing provides a USA based company with diverse capabilities. Every member of the technical staff has over 30-years of experience in their respective fields, encompassing mechanical, electrical, control and micro-chip engineering. The U.S. market for LED lighting is expected to continue at an accelerating pace over the next four to five years, reaching $10 Billion in 2020. The licensing of the solar technology when fully developed is planned for long term growth in the renewable Green Energy market
