Practical Training Gets Students off to a Great Start
During operator's practical training, students will perform showing what they've learned on a rotating basis, with each student getting about 10 to 20 minutes to show what they've mastered. Areas covered during practical training include:
- Load capacity and Stability - Students receive knowledge of the capacities of each piece of equipment they will be operating
- Inspecting Vehicles - How to inspect vehicles before use to be sure they're operating correctly, with emphasis on safety
- Controls and Attachments - How to use specific controls or attachments that may be needed during the vehicle's operation
