FBI Media Alert: Woman with Colorful Backpack Attempts to Rob Albuquerque Bank
ALBUQUERQUE - September 26, 2015 - The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a woman with a colorful backpack who attempted to rob a Wells Fargo bank inside a Smith’s grocery store in northeast Albuquerque on Saturday, September 26, 2015.
The suspect is described as an African-American woman in her early 20s, approximately 5’5” to 5’6” tall, with a thin build and long dark hair with blonde highlights.
She wore a long-sleeve olive green T-shirt, blue jeans, a camouflage boonie hat, and carried a backpack with letters of the alphabet and yellow, orange, blue and black squares on it.

Witnesses said the suspect entered the bank located at 3701 Constitution Avenue NE at approximately 1:58 p.m. and gave a teller a note demanding money.
The suspect left the bank without getting any money.
She may have gotten on a bicycle and headed east on Constitution Boulevard.
Anyone with information about this attempted bank robbery is asked to call the FBI at 505-889-1300 or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, 505-843-STOP.
The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
