Las Vegas. NV- On September 11, 2015 at 12:20 p.m. the LVMPD dispatch center received multiple 911 calls to report a shooting in the 5500 block of Boulder Highway. Police and medical personnel arrived at the scene and discovered two adult males both with apparent gunshot wounds. One male was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other victim was transported to the Sunrise Trauma Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated that the two victims, along with a third male, were in front of a business when an unknown suspect walked past them. The suspect went inside of the business and exited a short time later. As the suspect exited the business, he reportedly shot the two victims and then fled the scene before officers’ arrival. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
The suspect is described as a black male adult, standing 5’8” to 5’10”, with a slender build, in his 20’s. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, dark shorts, black socks and black shoes. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
These are the 86 th and 87th homicides investigated by the LVMPD in 2015. The identity of the victims, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
