Las Vegas, NV - May 30, 2017 - On May 30, 2017 at approximately 12:09 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Sierra Vista Drive to investigate reports of a stabbing. Officers found an unresponsive adult male in a parking lot suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital and later pronounced deceased.
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicates the victim was chased through a parking lot by the suspect, described as a thin black male adult wearing a tan shirt and jeans. The two then became engaged in a physical confrontation where the victim was stabbed. At this time, detectives have not identified the suspect or motive.
The identity of the deceased, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
