Shooting Suspects Sought
Las Vegas, NV - December 15, 2015 - On November 20, 2015 at approximately 8:42 p.m., LVMPD patrol officers were dispatched to the area of the 900 block of North Pecos Road for a report of a subject shot. Arriving police and medical personnel located an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to the UMC Trauma Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Northeast Area Command Investigations Detail indicated that the victim and his wife were in the parking lot when they were approached by three black males. One of the suspects pointed a firearm at the victim, at which point the victim pulled out his own firearm. The suspect fired at the victim, striking him, and the victim fired multiple rounds towards the suspects. The suspects then fled the area. This incident appears to be robbery motivated.
The suspects can be further described as males, in their teens to 30 years of age. Two of the suspects are described as having a thin build and one suspect is described as having a heavier build. Photos of the suspects accompany this release.
