Las Vegas, NV - February 13, 2017 - On February 10, 2017 at approximately 11:33 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 1900 block of Spindrift Court to investigate reports of an unresponsive adult female. Officers arrived and discovered a deceased female inside of the residence with no signs of trauma.
On February 11, 2017 the Clark County Coroner’s office conducted an autopsy which revealed several hemorrhages around the neck indicating the female had been strangled. Homicide Detectives responded to the coroner's office to take over the investigation.
This is the 19th homicide investigated by the LVMPD in 2017. The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. As of this release, the suspect has not been identified and the motive is unknown.
