Las Vegas, October 11, 2017 - On October 10, 2017 at approximately 10:01 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to investigate reports of a deceased male at the corner of Cory Place and Soprano Lane. Arriving officers met with medical personnel on scene and were told that an adult Hispanic male was deceased and suffered from apparent head trauma.
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide section indicates that the victim had been in a physical altercation and had been possibly stabbed. Detectives received information that two Hispanic male adults were seen jumping a wall into the adjacent complex just prior to the call.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. As of this release, the suspect or suspects have not been identified and the motive is unknown.
