Afternoon Argument Leaves One Man Dead and Another in Critical Condition
Las Vegas, NV - December 20, 2017 - On December 19, 2017 at approximately 6:30 p.m. LVMPD patrol officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Starbright Lane to investigate a report of two individuals shot. Arriving officers located two white males suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both were transported to University Medical Center Trauma where one of the victims was pronounced deceased a short time later and the other remains in critical condition.
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated the victims were in front of the residence when a known acquaintance approaches them. Within moments of his arrival, the suspect produces a firearm and shoots both victims multiple times before fleeing the scene. It is believed the shooting was caused due to an argument about money or property.
The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
