Teaming up to create the film were David Roden, Josh Sikkema, and John Arpino, who have done what other documentaries haven 't-strip away the nonsense and show the unfiltered truth about obesity, weight loss, and transformation. The team also built a first-of-its-kind independent filmmaking model, raising funds for the film independently and turning investors into executive producers. In collaboration with Black Pigeon Studios, The Anti Diet, Diet Club was self-produced, securing full creative control that would pave the way to change how others think about weight loss.
