Black Chamber of Arizona to Host 26th Anniversary Masquerade Gala Honoring Economic Empowerment
Business leaders from across the U.S. will gather Dec. 13 in Tempe to celebrate corporate and entrepreneurial excellence
PHOENIX, AZ / ACCESSWIRE / December 11, 2024 /The Black Chamber of Arizona (BCAZ) will host its 26th Anniversary Awards Masquerade Gala on Dec. 13, 2024, at the SRP PERA Pavilion in Tempe, Arizona. The event will honor the contributions of small businesses and celebrate economic empowerment across the state.
The gala, themed "Rising Together," is expected to draw business leaders across the United States, underscoring Arizona 's emergence as a hub for Black entrepreneurship. Arizona 's Black/African American community is the fastest-growing demographic, with a 33% increase from 2010 to 2020, according to the (GPEC) State of Black Business 3.0 Regional Report. Black-owned businesses have played a significant role in this growth, driving innovation and creating jobs statewide.
The event will recognize seven exceptional Black-owned employer firms that have contributed to the state 's economic vitality, including:

Blaylock Van, LLC - The oldest African-American-owned investment banking firm in the nation.
Battle Protection Agency - A premier security firm emphasizing professionalism and client-centered service.

Lush Café and Lounge - An upscale dining destination featuring chef-inspired cuisine and live entertainment.
