Century Fire Protection Expands Service Capabilities
Acquires ASA Fire Protection and Swift Fire Protection
TORONTO, June 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FirstService Corporation (TSX:FSV) and (NASDAQ:FSV) (“FirstService”) announced today that its subsidiary, Century Fire Protection (“Century”), has recently acquired two Georgia-based fire protection service companies, ASA Fire Protection (“ASA”) and Swift Fire Protection (“Swift”). The leaders of both businesses will continue to run day-to-day operations. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
Founded in 2009, ASA is a leading provider of inspection, testing and maintenance services for fire protection systems and extinguishers to industrial and manufacturing clients within the Georgia market. Swift Fire Protection, established in 1969, specializes in fire extinguisher sales and services across Georgia.
