TEMECULA, Calif., June 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- International Endeavors Corp (OTC:IDVV) announces plans to work with the largest marijuana growers in Canada now that the Canadian government approved the legalization of marijuana for all uses in the entire country. CNN reported that the Canadian Senate passed the legislation on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, with a vote of 52 in favor to 29 opposed
International Endeavors already announced in May 2018 via Globe Newswire that plans were underway to set up distribution of the Off Grid Grow Laboratory (OGGL) in Canada in anticipation of the change in the Canadian laws. The passing of the new law was made public by the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, on Twitter who said, “Our plan to legalize & regulate marijuana just passed the Senate.” This was one of Trudeau’s campaign promises. The Senate was the final approval needed to pass the law.
The OGGL is perfectly suitable for the harsh weather conditions found in parts of Canada. It operates effectively in northern areas by being able to maintain a steady temperature in colder climates as well as hotter ones. The use of solar power allows the OGGL to be put into service in places where there is no connection to the grid electricity.
The announcement by the Canadian Prime Minister sent the stocks of Canadian marijuana companies soaring because of investor frenzy. The marketplace for marijuana in Canada is estimated to be worth many billions of dollars per year. The expectation is that Canadians will pay a premium for marijuana and related products when they are able to purchase them legally. In comparison, the marijuana industry in the United States took in $9 billion during 2017.
About the OGGL: The OGGL is the first purpose-built, self-contained, off-grid growing laboratory. Built in a low-cost shipping container, the OGGL has integrated solar modules and lithium-phosphate batteries coupled with a generator backup to supply uninterrupted power to the grow room. The OGGL has been configured for the three stages of the growing process, which are: vegetative, flowering, and cloning.
