ORLANDO, Fla., June 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE), a division of global learning company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, will recognize its 2018 Model Schools and Innovative Districts at the 26th annual Model Schools Conference, taking place June 24-27 in Orlando, Fla. Selected for creating an environment of high achievement and equitable opportunity for all students, these 34 schools and districts have implemented a rigorous and relevant curricula that challenge and engage students to think beyond the classroom to solve real-world problems. The Model Schools Conference is a four-day professional learning event consisting of over 100 sessions. At the gathering, educators and administrators from the Model Schools and Innovative Districts share their transformational journeys, research-based strategies and tools for creating a future-focused mindset. Education thought leaders will explore foundational topics, including achieving efficacy in a digital world, implementing strategies to support content area literacy, and closing gaps in achievement and opportunity.
