Anaheim, CA / May 2, 2019 - MARS Parachutes ( www.marsparachutes.com ) is the world leader in drone safety technology. Our focus on drone safety is in 3 specific areas; drones flying over humans, autonomous drone flight, and flight at night. Our passion for safety serves key areas where drone technology can help preserve, or enhance human life. The preservation of human life will come from Search and Rescue missions, or SAR's missions as they're known in the industry. We are working on technology that will shorten the time to locate the distressed human life. The enhancement of human life comes from Drone Delivery Systems which can deliver goods to our homes and businesses.
Currently, we have averaged over 600 products sold each year without the help of having safety laws in place. Safety laws are expected to be released by the FAA by the end of 2019, with this knowledge we plan to reach our goal not only through our direct sales and dealer options, but also through commercial application such as delivery systems for Amazon and Google. This new market will require FAA Certified Parachute & Safety Equipment.
Why does MARS see this potential for marketplace domination? There are currently 122,000 FAA registered commercial Drone pilots with expansion of up to 451,800 pilots by 2022 according to the FAA. One can see the expected growth just by looking at the changing marketplaces and their methods of delivery (e.g. Amazon drone delivery, FedEx, food delivery, etc.) Relying on the current numbers of 122,000 FAA registered pilots & our unit price between $1,000 - $3,000, this puts a market that is worth an estimated 122-366 million dollars just looking at current registered commercial pilots. In 2022 the 451,800 registered pilots' forms a market that is worth 451 million – 1.353 billion dollars.
