Fires in southeastern N.B. are on the rise. Officials know many of them were no accident

According to a briefing note obtained by CBC News through a right to information request, 57 per centÂ the fires in the region between 2019 and 2022 were considered to be deliberaltely setÂ compared to a provincial average of 35 per cent.
