INFRA-RED IN A REMOTE
Infra-red remote uses light to move the signal from the transmitter to the receiver, which then deciphers the code.
The receiver, while deciphering the code transmitted through the light, understands the command and hence obeys the command.
RADIO FREQUENCY
Radiofrequency uses electromagnetic waves as transmission waves.
Radiofrequency is mostly present around us, and due to this, many times, the radio signals are interfered with and get broken down.
There are types of radiofrequency modules that comprise of Transmitter, Receiver, and transceiver.
The radiofrequency, unlike Infra-red, could easily penetrate through the wall.
RADIO FREQUENCY IN A REMOTE
The radiofrequency remote can only work if the twoproducts are on the same frequency. The transmitter would not be able to receive if they are not paired together.
Many Radio frequencyremotes have a specific channel at which they transmit the spectrum, just like mentioned above due to this particular code or channel mentioned, the receiver only responds to the embedded code.

RF Transmitter
One of the principal features of a remote control car is a transmitter. Transmitter commands the movement of the remote control car as it is used to send and receive signals.
A transmitter can send its signals easily through walls, doors, or any other obstruction.
Understanding of how the remote control car transmitter worksis vital. There is a wide variety of transmitters, some with only a single feature like a single joystick and another with fully equipped feature would include some switches including joystick or a wheel.

RF Receiver
The receiver is one of the other essential parts in the mechanism of a remote control car as it is found inside of a vehicle.
The receiver uses an antenna to get its command from the transmitter
The receiver and the transmitter work on the same frequency as to understand the command.
The receiver plays a crucial role in activating the motor inside the remote car.
MOTOR
The motor is a critical part of the working of a remote control device. This electric motor is also known as a toy motor.
The sole purpose of a toy motor is to move a small object like a toy car, toy train, and other devices.
Easy to use as this motor only requires a simple switch to turn it on and off and can be used in projects which need low energy.
They are not expensive and can be easily bought and is said to be more efficient than the other power sources.
BATTERY
The battery is important and is the reason why the motor in a remote control car works.
There are different types of batteries available in the market; some can be recharged, and others work for a certain period.
The rechargeable batteries need at least 7-8 hours of charging before being used again; these batteries are usually for high consumption electronic devices.
The non-rechargeable are the ones with low consumption and work over a long period of time. These are often used in devices like clocks, smoke detectors, and remote controls.
GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS)
GPS is usually found in the cars, we drive and satellite phones, mobile phones to track our location or locate an address.
GPS is now also being used in remote control cars as sometimes these little gadgets are used in tracking locations, which are hard for a human to reach.
GPS is very easy to use and is available in the market at a very reasonable price.
However, GPS is made for outdoor purposes, but again if there is an obstruction, the signal might break down.
NITRO OR ELECTRIC KITS
All the toy type remote control cars are electric, the electric then powers the motor, which results in the movement of the toy.
The Nitro kit is, however, for the remote car enthusiasts who want to run their cars in a large area. Nitro engines have their dependency on fuel instead of batteries.
The electric kit is easy to handle, the battery can be easily changed, and they are low cost.
The Nitro kit is more expensive than the electric as you have to refuel the tank regularly, and it is more customizable than the electrical. It hence costs more for if you decide to upgrade
CHASSIS
Chassis is the foundation of the remote control car. It is the essential body that supports all the parts of the toy.
The chassis is the foundation that handles all of the stress felt in the toy, depending on the terrain you run it on. Usually, the electric kit cars are run in areas with short spaces like a house while Nitro kit cars are generally run by enthusiasts outdoors and in large spaces.
Essential parts like steering, brake system, and the tires are attached to the chassis. While an electric kit chassis made up of plastic, the nitro kit is made up of aluminium.
Nitro kit engines produce large amounts of heat, which could quickly melt away the plastic chassis, so the aluminium helps in keeping the metal and the engine cool.
