U.S. Marshals Apprehend Domestic Assault Suspect
Fairfax, VA – On January 18, 2024, the U.S. Marshals (USMS) Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF), in coordination with the Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD), located and safely arrested a Lorton man wanted by the PWCPD for aggravated assault by strangulation, threats to kill and threats to law enforcement stemming from two separate domestic disputes in Woodbridge.
Sirri M. Webb, 39, was sought in connection to domestic disputes reported to have occurred at two residences: 3300 block of Chelsea Drive on January 22, 2023, and at 13300 block of Ferry Landing Lane on April 4, 2021.
Officers responding to the Chelsea Drive residence learned that the victim, a 38-year-old woman, and Webb were involved in a verbal argument. Webb allegedly grabbed the woman by the neck and struck her. A 10-year-old girl attempted to intervene, and Webb is alleged to have pushed the child against a wall before fleeing in a Chrysler 300.
The victim reported non-life-threatening injuries, and the child reported mild injuries.
During the investigation, the victim received numerous threatening phone calls from Webb, who also threatened law enforcement officers.
CARFTF investigators developed information about the vehicle and located it near an apartment complex in the 7600 block of Oakridge Woods Court in Lorton. During surveillance over several weeks CARFTF investigators determined Webb was one of the occupants in the apartment and arrested him. Webb was transported to the Fairfax County Jail.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for the apartment and seized nine firearms, live ammunition, 1 kilogram of crack cocaine, several pounds of marijuana and fraudulent identification.
The USMS CARFTF began operations in June 2004. The CARFTF has partnership agreements with more than 133 federal, state, and local agencies and operates in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. The CARFTF has apprehended more than 78,000 fugitives since its inception and is always striving to make communities safer.
