U.S. Marshals, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and Michigan State Police Capture Shooting Suspect in Michigan
Cadillac, MI – The Michigan State Police 7th District Fugitive Team and the U.S. Marshals Grand Rapids Fugitive Task Force (GRFTF) arrested Fugitive Malcolm Williams on April 2, 2024.
Malcolm Williams was wanted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol for Felonious Assault. On April 1, 2024, Williams was charged in the Belmont County Court stemming from his alleged involvement in the shooting of Michael Brundage. This incident occurred on I-470 on January 30, 2024, while the victim was parked on the side of the roadway. The U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) adopted the case, and investigators discovered Williams was in the State of Michigan. This investigation led the Michigan State Police and the U.S. Marshal Task Force to the 600 Block of 7th Street, Cadillac, Michigan where Williams was taken into custody without incident and Williams is being held at the Wexford County Jail.
