Readout of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Deputy Director and Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Director Patrick J. Lechleitner’s visit to San Diego

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Deputy Director and Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Director Patrick J. Lechleitner and Enforcement and Removal Operations Executive Associate Director Daniel A. Bible traveled to San Diego this week to meet with ERO and Homeland Security Investigations personnel as they prepare to support operations on the southwest border. While the agency’s focus is interior immigration enforcement, it routinely supports the Department of Homeland Security efforts at the border. As a federal law enforcement agency, national security and public safety are top priority. Director Lechleitner and EAD Bible also met with officers and agents in a townhall.
