Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshals, Memphis Department (MPD), and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Teams captured Travon Marshall, 19, of Memphis, who was wanted for a deadly shooting that took place in the Frayser area of Memphis last month.
On May 22nd, 2024, shortly before 3 a.m., Memphis police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of Willow Wood Avenue. Officers were advised that a man with gunshot wounds from the scene was dropped off at Regional One Hospital and later pronounced dead.
The same day, MPD Detectives obtained a warrant out of Shelby County General Sessions Court charging Marshall with First Degree Murder, Criminal Attempt First Degree, Aggravated Assault, and a firearm offense.
