Readout of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement engagement with Major County Sheriffs of America

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Deputy Director and Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Director Patrick J. Lechleitner gave keynote remarks and met with law enforcement leaders from the Major County Sheriffs of America yesterday, who collectively represent more than 130 million citizens, to discuss threats facing our communities and opportunities to collaborate and protect our citizens. Homeland Security Investigations Deputy Assistant Director Mike Prado, who runs the DHS Cyber Crimes Center also gave remarks. Both stressed the importance of partnerships with all levels of law enforcement across the country and are imperative to the shared work we do and support the collective desire to enhance public safety and protect national security.
