SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — ICE Homeland Security Investigations special agents arrested Felix Ebdiel Muñiz-Rivera, 20, of Camuy, for producing and possessing child sexual abuse material Aug. 29.
Muñiz-Rivera coerced two five-year-old girls to engage in sexually explicit conduct so he could create the material. From June through August, he also possessed images of child sexual abuse.
"The production of child sexual abuse material is considered a violent crime because of its severity and the impact of these acts to the victims,” said HSI San Juan Special Agent in Charge Rebecca C. González-Ramos. “HSI has a strong commitment with our children — to protect them — but most importantly, to give them the right tools to avoid and report these crimes. We need the community to join us in this fight, let’s protect our children together. Make a pledge to protect our minors at Know2Protect.”
