4 Missing Children Recovered Within Hours by U.S. Marshals in Cleveland
Cleveland, OH – Late this afternoon, members of the United States Marshals led Missing Child Unit (MCU) recovered 4 missing children in two separate cases.
First, earlier today, the Missing Child Unit was contacted by the Seven Hills Police Department regarding two missing teenage girls, ages 13 and 14. They were believed to be in the Cleveland area but unknown where. After initiating the investigation, the MCU was able to locate the children in the area of West 63rd and Storer. During the recovery of the children, a male, Christopher Lucko, 26, was taken into custody. He was arrested for interference with custody.
Later in the day, the MCU was able to locate two other missing children reported missing from Solon Police Department. The children, ages 14 and 6 were last seen yesterday and there was concern for the safety of the children. The MCU, SEALE Missing Persons Unit, and Solon Police were able to safely locate the children within a few hours in the area of Columbus Rd. and Sweet Birch Dr. after a call from a community member.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Outstanding partnerships with local law enforcement led to quick and safe recoveries of all four of these children, I appreciate all of the hard work of our officers, and all of the officers involved.”
