EEOC’s Indianapolis District Office Is Moving
Will Reopen at New Location Around Feb. 12
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis District Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is moving, the federal agency announced today. The new office continues to prioritize accessibility to the public and is located at 115 W. Washington St., South Tower Suite 600, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Telephone numbers and email addresses will remain the same.
The Indianapolis District Office is responsible for processing charges of discrimination against private, state, and local government employers in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and parts of Ohio. The Indianapolis District Office is also responsible for conducting hearings regarding complaints against federal government employers in this geographic location.
During the transition period starting Jan. 29, the office will be closed to the public for walk-in services and will reopen at the new location on or about Feb. 12. However, the office is operational and meeting the needs of stakeholders virtually.
Individuals who wish to file a charge of discrimination are encouraged to visit the EEOC Public Portal at: https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/Portal/Login.aspx to schedule an intake appointment by telephone. Additional information about how to file a charge can be found on the EEOC’s website at: https://www.eeoc.gov/filing-charge-discrimination. Federal employees are also encouraged to use the EEOC Public Portal to file requests for hearings and appeals.

During the physical move, the Indianapolis District Office will continue to mediate EEOC charges of discrimination. Mediations are currently being conducted through virtual meetings or by telephone conference call.
