Christian metal band Demon Hunter sues Netflix over KPop Demon Hunters movie

Christian metal band Demon Hunter is suing Netflix for trademark infringement, saying the streaming giant has created confusion with its hit movie KPop Demon Hunters. In a complaint dated Aug. 18, 2026, lawyers for Hyde Lane Inc. — Demon Hunter's parent company — say the name of the show is too similar to that of the band.
