About Meghan Phelan Zeller

After graduating from high school, Ms. Zeller pursued a higher education to gain the knowledge that would help her assist others through speech-language therapy. She received a bachelor 's degree in communication disorders from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Amherst, Massachusetts and a master 's in speech-language pathology from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut.
Ms. Zeller has also received certifications in Advanced Training in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ArSHA).

Going Above and Beyond to Help Others
One of Ms. Zeller 's proudest moments was in the early days of her career. At the time, she worked in an underprivileged community and another speech therapist expressed concerns about a particular student who had unintelligible speech and wasn 't making progress in their therapy sessions.
Ms. Zeller assessed the student and realized that the student 's issues were connected to a rare condition. Even though the student 's mouth appeared normal, air escaped through their nose when they spoke, resulting in food and liquid spilling through their nostrils when they ate and drank.
Ms. Zeller advocated for the student before the school board to receive assistance through communication and related services. Through her work, the student was granted the needed therapy, which improved their life significantly.
Ms. Zeller 's Work at Ridge Zeller Therapy
In 2008, Ms. Zeller founded Ridge Zeller Therapy, which provides evidence-based speech-language therapy, occupational therapy and educational psychology services.
High-quality services are provided at the Chandler, Arizona clinic, including home therapy and teletherapy. Ms. Zeller specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Dyslexia and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Under her guidance, her team provides pediatric speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, special education services, psychoeducational evaluations and school psychology services in public and private schools in the Phoenix area.
In the future, Ms. Zeller will continue making meaningful connections within her community. She is dedicated to her advocacy work and offering support to the parents and families of the students she helps. Additionally, Ms. Zeller plans to help those starting their own entrepreneurial projects as she expands her coaching endeavors.
