Greenlight Networks to Acquire Loop Internet

Accelerates Fiber-to-the-Home Expansion across Northeastern Pennsylvania

SCRANTON, PA / ACCESS Newswire / July 8, 2025 /Greenlight Networks, a leading fiber-to-the-home internet provider, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Loop Internet, a locally-owned and operated fiber internet provider headquartered in Scranton, PA.

In April, Greenlight announced its expansion into Pennsylvania to build fiber internet networks in both the Northeast and South-Central regions of the state. The acquisition of Loop Internet will significantly expand Greenlight 's presence in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area and accelerate the deployment of its state-of-the-art fiber network.
