East/West Manufacturing Enterprises and GPV Announce Strategic Partnership
AUSTIN, TEXAS / ACCESS Newswire / December 15, 2025 /On 15 December 2025, GPV Group A/S and East/West Manufacturing Enterprises (EWME) entered into a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening customer service and enhancing manufacturing flexibility, particularly across the United States and Mexico. The collaboration supports evolving customer requirements related to US domestic production, changing tariff environments, and compliance with BABA and USMCA regulations.
In response to shifting global trade dynamics, both companies see a growing need for resilient, regionally aligned manufacturing options. GPV Group A/S is Europe 's second-largest EMS company, headquartered in Denmark.
"This is an important step for GPV as we strengthen our focus and services to the American market. Since the first tariff announcements by the US Administration in April 2025, we have been in close dialogue with our customers to understand their specific production needs and to assess where it may be beneficial or even necessary to relocate manufacturing to navigate BABA and other US requirements. This partnership reflects that work. We see a strong match and strategic focus, and it positions us to continue serving our customers according to their needs and expectations, " says Bo Lybæk, CEO of GPV Group A/S.
"I have high expectations for this partnership. It creates a powerful opportunity for EWME to provide customers with competitive, high-quality production in cost-efficient regions, while expanding domestic capacity for programmes requiring US manufacturing. I am confident that both companies - and most importantly our customers - will benefit significantly from this collaboration, "says Andy Salo, CEO of EWME.
Complementary strengths and customer continuity
GPV, with its global manufacturing footprint, and EWME, with strong production capability in the United States, have identified complementary strengths that enable them to meet critical customer needs more effectively.
GPV will support EWME in serving US-based industrial customers through cost-effective, high-volume production in economically competitive low-cost regions, particularly where USMCA free-trade benefits and compliance considerations apply. In turn, EWME will assist GPV in meeting obligations for US domestic manufacturing programmes, including those linked to Buy America and Build America (BABA) requirements.
Under the partnership, each company will remain the primary customer interface within its own markets while subcontracting manufacturing to the other when it adds value. This model enhances continuity, competitiveness, and responsiveness amid accelerating market and regulatory changes.
The agreement took effect on 12 December 2025. Both GPV and EWME will now begin engaging with customers who may benefit from expanded production options under the partnership.
