Whittier Trust Announces Succession of Ashley Fontanetta as Director of Philanthropic Services and the Retirement of Pegine Grayson
PASADENA, CA / ACCESS Newswire / March 10, 2026 /Ashley Fontanetta has been promoted to Director of Philanthropic Services at Whittier Trust. Ashley has served as a Senior Vice President and Client Advisor, advising families on philanthropic planning and administration. In her new role, she leads the Whittier Philanthropic department and continues guiding clients in the formation and management of private foundations and donor advised funds, as well as broader charitable strategies aligned with their long-term objectives.
Ashley brings experience in both financial services and nonprofit management. Prior to joining Whittier Trust, she worked as a Financial Advisor, developing wealth management strategies for individuals and families, and previously served as a nonprofit director supporting chronically ill youth in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. She holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation and the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation.
