Americas Cardroom Sets Seven-Date Venom Specials Series With $10.16M Guaranteed
The complete 91-tournament schedule runs alongside key Dual Venom flights and Day 2 periods.
SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / August 12, 2026 /Americas Cardroom today announced the complete Venom Specials schedule, a seven-date series of 91 tournaments carrying $10.16 million in cumulative guarantees from August 17 through August 31.
The schedule is built around the busiest periods of the broader Dual Venom window. It gives players more tournament options while the community is online for major Venom starting flights and Day 2 action, without requiring entry into the $15 Million Dual Venoms.
Venom Specials span regular No-Limit Hold 'em tournaments, Progressive Knockouts, 6-Max events, Mystery Bounty tournaments and Omaha variants. Individual guarantees range from $15,000 to $750,000.
The first wave opens Monday, August 17 with 15 tournaments and $915,000 guaranteed. Thursday, August 20 adds 11 events and $820,000, while Sunday, August 23 carries 12 tournaments and $1.84 million. Together, the first three dates contribute $3.575 million in guarantees.
The second wave starts Monday, August 24 with 11 tournaments and $805,000, followed by another 11 events with $995,000 on Thursday, August 27.
The two closing dates deliver the largest daily totals. Sunday, August 30 offers 13 tournaments and $2.34 million guaranteed, including events carrying $600,000, $500,000 and $250,000 guarantees. Monday, August 31 concludes the schedule with 18 tournaments and $2.445 million guaranteed. That slate includes the schedule 's largest single event at $750,000 GTD, plus a $500,000 GTD tournament and a $200,000 GTD Progressive Knockout.
The wider August tournament window is anchored by the Dual Venoms, including a $12 million GTD NLH Mystery Bounty and the $3 million GTD PLO Mystery Bounty. Each begins with Day 1A on Thursday, August 13 and carries a $2,650 buy-in. The top bounties are $500,000 for the NLH event and $250,000 for the PLO event.
