Americas Cardroom Updates Halloween Mystery PKO Fields as Day 2 Qualifiers Reach 367
SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / October 20, 2026 /Americas Cardroom reported 3,215 total entries and 367 Day 2 qualifiers across its Halloween Mystery PKO tournaments as of Tuesday morning. Starting flights opened Sunday, Oct. 18, and continue daily through Nov. 1, when all three events enter the bounty phase.
The three tournaments have combined guarantees of $650,000. The $109 buy-in event guarantees $500,000; the $33 event guarantees $100,000; and the $5.50 tournament guarantees $50,000.
The $109 tournament has recorded 622 entries and 75 Day 2 qualifiers. At the $33 level, 536 entries have produced 44 qualifiers. The $5.50 event accounts for the largest entry count, with 2,057 entries and 248 players advancing to Day 2.
Players can participate in more than one Day 1 flight and combine qualifying chip stacks for Day 2. The bounty phase begins only on Day 2, Sunday, Nov. 1. Every player starts that phase with $0 in accumulated Progressive Bounty.
The Halloween Special uses Mystery PKO, a format exclusive to the Winning Poker Network. It brings together hidden Mystery Bounties and visible Progressive Bounties, dividing each revealed mystery prize between an immediate payout and the bounty carried by the player who earns it.
Once bounties begin, a qualifying elimination reveals a mystery prize. The player responsible for the knockout receives 50% immediately. The other 50% becomes part of that player 's visible Progressive Bounty, which can then be won through a subsequent elimination.
When the eliminated opponent already carries an accumulated Progressive Bounty, that amount is divided in the same way. Half goes directly to the eliminator and half is added to the eliminator 's bounty.
