Brazil Posts Three Final-Table Finishes in Americas Cardroom Dual Venoms
SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / October 22, 2026 /The October Dual Venom tournaments at Americas Cardroom recorded 45 Brazilian Day 2 qualifications across their No-Limit Hold 'em and Pot-Limit Omaha events, with three Brazilian players going on to reach the final tables. The results continue a pattern of significant Brazilian finishes in the Venom dating to 2019.
The $5 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold 'em (NLH) Venom Progressive Knockout (PKO) drew 2,143 entries and built a $5,357,500 prize pool. The $1.5 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) Venom PKO attracted 602 entries, producing $1,505,000. Both $2,650 buy-in tournaments ended October 21, after exceeding their combined guarantees by $362,500.
In NLH, Victor Pedote ( "meteli goli ") finished seventh for approximately $104,088, including bounties. José Orlando ( "Blessed33 ") took fourth in PLO for approximately $82,743, while Yuri Martins Dzivielevski ( "vousconfus ") placed fifth for approximately $72,633. Two other Brazilians, "LaMurruguita " and "SouNinjaa, " finished 13th and 14th in NLH, respectively.
Brazil registered 39 NLH Day 2 qualifications and six in PLO. Martins advanced in both events; the combined figure counts event qualifications, rather than unique players or confirmed cashes. The events ran five Day 1 flights between October 4 and 18, before Day 2 on October 19 and the final tables on October 21.
This was the second PLO Venom final table of 2026 shared by Orlando and Martins. In April, they finished third and sixth in the PLO Mystery Bounty Venom. Past Brazilian champions include Rafael Moraes and João Simão in 2019, Ramon Kropmanns in 2021, Ivanildo Limeira in 2024, Carlos Rocha in February 2025 and Gabriel Tavares in April 2025.
Brazilian streamer Marcelo Cartana also reached NLH Day 2 after starting his satellite qualification route with an $0.80 Survivor Flip; he finished 158th for approximately $8,367 including bounties. Separately, Venom Fever guaranteed 587 seats through Direct and Mega Satellites.
