In early 2024, CMMC experienced a cybersecurity incident on its IT Network. CMMC 's investigation determined that the following types of sensitive personal information may have been exposed in the data breach included: Full Name, Social Security number, Address, Date of birth, Driver 's license number, Medical information (e.g., medical record number, patient ID or account number, diagnosis and treatment information, doctor or facility name and / or date of service), Health insurance information, and Medicare or Medicaid number. On October 9, 2024, CMMC filed a public disclosure and began sending notice letters to individuals impacted by the data breach.Compensation may be available for those individuals who received notice that their personal information was compromised.
