In late October, a hacker group revealed on BreachForums that it successfully infiltrated HT 's IT Network. In addition, the hacker group claimed that it stole millions of customer data from HT and its subsidiaries, Box Lunch and Torrid. According to an independent third-party investigation, it is suspected that the breach occurred on October 19, 2024.
The investigationdeterminedthat the following types of sensitive personal information may have been exposed in the data breach:full name,email addresses,dates of birth,phone numbers, physical addresses, purchase history, and partial credit card data.Compensation may be available for those individuals who received notice that their personal information was compromised.
