NJCP JV Division Gives Athletes Another Path to Reps and Advancement
Las Vegas, Nevada / CRWE PRESS RELEASE / May 28, 2026 — The National Junior College Prep (NJCP) Football League continues to expand its football model with a JV division designed to give athletes additional opportunities to compete, develop, and earn a larger role within the league.

The JV format is intended to give players more chances to get on the field while continuing their progression through the season. For athletes who need more reps or a different path into regular playing time, the division provides another way to stay involved in a team environment and continue building experience. League leadership has noted that when JV players show varsity potential, those athletes can be considered for advancement within the league.
NJCP's approach is built around giving athletes a clearer pathway to continue their football careers while also protecting their long-term development. In addition to added playing opportunities, the league's model allows athletes to compete without having a year count against their NCAA clock, creating another option for players who want to keep developing without losing ground on eligibility.
The league also continues to emphasize education and support off the field. NJCP's structure includes online schooling, access to tutors and mentors, and practical support that can help athletes balance football, academics, and day-to-day responsibilities. The goal is to give players a setting where they can continue growing both as athletes and as students.
NJCP has also pointed to housing and job opportunities for athletes moving between states, helping reduce barriers for players who want to continue competing in a new environment. With teams and players spread across the country, the league's national footprint gives athletes a chance to find a program that fits their goals while staying connected to football.
For NJCP, the JV division is one more part of a broader effort to create opportunities for overlooked players, late bloomers, and athletes still looking for the right place to continue their journey. The league remains focused on helping players get on the field, stay in school, and move forward through a football model built around development and access.
