CDT Validates Enhanced Solid-Form Properties Within Its IP Portfolio
NAPLES, Fla. and CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom, Aug. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CDT Equity Inc. (Nasdaq: CDT) (“CDT” or the “Company”), today announced that new solid forms and alternative crystal structures of its existing drug compounds, show enhanced physical property advantages, including improved stability, solubility, manufacturability, over existing forms of these compounds. These solid forms are patent-protected under the Company’s Substance of Matter IP and could support new formulations tailored to specific patient needs, prospectively increasing the commercial life of the underlying assets.
Following implementation of Sarborg’s Signature Intelligence to identify new potential uses for CDT’s existing assets, alone or in combination with currently marketed drugs, CDT has filed patents to protect these findings. The new uses target diseases with limited treatment options and patient groups currently underserved by existing therapies. Utilising this new dataset, CDT will now advance these findings into clinically relevant, lab models, building out further experimental evidence of biological activity and therapeutic potential, ahead of partnering discussions. CDT will also assess whether its proprietary solid forms can produce differentiated, competitive products, distinct from existing marketed formulations.
The Company’s goal is a de-risked, competitor-differentiated package of AI-driven data, experimental evidence and 20-year patent protection that reduces scientific risk and uncertainty around these assets. CDT believes this novel approach will make its portfolio of assets more effective, useful across a broader range of conditions, protected for longer through new intellectual property and, consequently, more attractive and valuable to out-license to potential partners.
