Changes in the Management Board of Harju Elekter’s Swedish subsidiary
The positive development of the Swedish market, continued investments in the expansion of electricity networks, and Harju Elekter AB’s growing order backlog have created favorable conditions for the next stage of development of the Swedish operations. The next phase of Harju Elekter AB’s development will focus on increasing sustainable profitability, further developing processes, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening collaboration across the Group. Achieving these objectives requires a different set of leadership experience and competencies than those needed in the past.
As a result of the above, Harju Elekter Group has decided to appoint Jan Kotka as the new Managing Director of Harju Elekter AB, effective 1 September 2026. Jan Kotka brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience in industry, manufacturing, and the management of complex organizations. He has a strong track record of driving strategic transformation, successfully leading large organizations through periods of change while improving their competitiveness, operational efficiency, and long-term financial performance. Over the past eight years, Jan Kotka has been a member of the executive management team of Magnetic MRO, with responsibility for the company 's operations and strategic development initiatives.
Jan Kotka holds a master’s degree in international business administration from the Estonian Business School and a master’s degree in European studies from the University of Tartu, with a specialization in law, politics, and economics. In addition, he completed the Executive MBA program at Aalto University, focusing on leadership and business management. Jan Kotka does not hold any shares in Harju Elekter Group.
Harju Elekter expresses its gratitude to its outgoing Managing Director Martin Frank for his dedicated contributions to the company and extends its best wishes for his future endeavors.
