HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Sept. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Orbit International Corp. (OTCID Basic Market:ORBT), an electronics manufacturer and software solutions provider, today announced consolidated bookings in excess of $3,500,000 for the month of August 2026. Expected deliveries under these contracts have already commenced and are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027.
Mitchell Binder, President and CEO of Orbit International Corp. commented, “We are pleased to report that consolidated bookings for the Company were in excess of $3,500,000 for the month of August 2026. Bookings for our Orbit Electronics Group (“OEG”), inclusive of our Simulator Product Solutions LLC (“SPS”) subsidiary were in excess of $2,300,000 for the month. The bookings were highlighted by our previously announced SPS order valued at approximately $1,200,000 received in August. The order was from a large defense contractor to support the SSC FoT program for the U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD). Furthermore, all deliveries under this contract are scheduled for the fourth quarter of the current year. Year-to-date bookings for SPS have increased by approximately 13% over the comparable period of the prior year, increasing backlog and helping support SPS delivery schedules for the remainder of 2026 and into the first half of 2027.”
Binder added, “In addition to the firm booking month from our OEG, our Orbit Power Group (“OPG”) generated approximately $1,200,000 in bookings for the month of August. This follows on the heels of our strong bookings month in July 2026 that was in excess of $1,400,000. August bookings were attributable to orders for our power supplies using our VPX technology as well as non-VPX COTS and commercial power supplies. Total bookings for the OPG as of August 31, 2026 were 46.8% higher than the comparable period of the prior year.”
