American Fusion Inc. Featured in AGORACOM Interview on Texatron™ and the Race to Power Artificial Intelligence
Executive Chairman Brent Nelson discusses testing, planned system sizes and the Company’s potential path toward commercial power generation
SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Fusion Inc. (OTCQB: AMFN) ( "American Fusion " or the "Company "), developer of the proprietary Texatron™ Fusion Engine™, announced today the release of a new AGORACOM interview featuring Brent Nelson, the Company’s Executive Chairman. The interview, titled "American Fusion’s Texatron: The Race to Power AI With Fusion, " explores the Company’s development program and its strategy for addressing growing electricity demand from artificial intelligence, data centers and other power-intensive applications.

During the interview, Nelson discusses the Company’s 5 MW preproduction Texatron™, plans for 10 MW and 20 MW systems with its Texas fabricator, and authorization from the State of Texas to test 12 planned system sizes ranging from approximately 500 kW to 1 GW. These ratings represent intended system sizes and do not constitute demonstrated electrical output.
Nelson also describes the Company’s current objective of producing documented test results showing that the Texatron™ can generate and capture sufficient energy for conversion into usable electricity. Management is targeting achievement of unity or beyond unity by the end of 2026, subject to testing progress and continued access to the Texas Tech University facility. If testing is successful, the Company is targeting deployment of a test unit and the potential commencement of commercial production and electricity sales in 2027.
American Fusion’s commercial model is expected to emphasize placing Texatron™ systems at customer sites and selling the electricity generated under power purchase agreements, rather than selling the systems themselves. In the interview, Nelson discusses the Company’s engagement with major technology and data center companies and characterizes outstanding proposals as having a potential combined value in the tens of billions of dollars. These proposals are not completed agreements, and prospective customers are awaiting additional test results.
Nelson commented: "This interview gives shareholders and prospective stakeholders a clear view of where the Texatron™ program stands today and what must be achieved next. The demand for dependable electricity is accelerating, particularly across artificial intelligence and data-center infrastructure. Our focus remains on disciplined testing, documented results and advancing the Texatron™ toward a scalable commercial power platform. "
The Company emphasizes that its current testing program has not yet demonstrated unity, usable electricity or commercial operation. The milestones discussed in the interview remain subject to successful testing, validation, financing, regulatory approvals and other risks and uncertainties.
