Swiss Water Announces $6.2 Million Capital Investment to Expand Production Capacity
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Inc. (TSX:SWP) (“Swiss Water” or “the Company”) today announced it will invest $6.2 million to expand production capacity at its Delta, BC facility. The investment will increase production volume by 15% from its current maximum capacity.
Construction is expected to commence in Q1 2027 with no disruption to existing operations. The expansion is scheduled to be completed by June 2027 and operating commercially by July 2027. The Company anticipates internally financing the majority of the investment from operating cash flow, with the balance coming from existing credit lines.
“Decaffeinated coffee drinkers are increasingly demanding that their coffee contain no residual chemical solvents. This continues to drive an industry-wide migration away from chemical decaffeination processes in favour of 100% chemical free products like Swiss Water Process® coffees. In response, we are excited to announce that, due to growing demand for our decaffeinated coffee and rapidly expanding utilization of our existing production capacity, we will be investing in the expansion of our technologically advanced production facility. This expansion supports Swiss Water’s broader strategy to support existing customer demand, attract new trading partners, and expand into new markets,” said Frank Dennis, Swiss Water’s President & CEO.
