FST Corp. Launches KBS TOUR V-X Steel Iron Shaft Family, Engineered for Best-in-Category Stability and Dispersion
Boulder, Colorado--(Newsfile Corp. - September 24, 2026) - FST Corp. (NASDAQ: KBSX) ("FST" or the "Company"), a leading manufacturer and marketer of steel and graphite golf shafts and a provider of other golf-related services, today announced the launch of the KBS TOUR V-X family of steel iron shafts, comprising the KBS TOUR V-X and KBS TOUR V-X Lite.
The V-X family represents the Company's newest steel iron shaft platform, engineered to maximize the strength-to-weight ratio while maintaining the signature KBS feel. Its proprietary flex profile and geometric design allow KBS to deliver greater stiffness and stability at a given shaft weight, providing more precise control of shaft deflection through impact. In Company testing, the family achieved a strength-to-weight ratio up to approximately 20% higher than many of the Company's existing steel iron shafts.
Both shafts share a common architecture: a firm butt section, a responsive midsection, and a stable tip profile designed to reduce bending amplitude across the swing. By reducing movement at impact, the Company believes the platform delivers truer flight, tighter dispersion, and improved distance control for players with faster swing speeds, without sacrificing the workability competitive golfers require.
The family's two weight platforms allow fitters to match a player's preferred feel and swing profile:
KBS TOUR V-X
The heavier platform in the family, designed for advanced and elite players seeking maximum stability and a traditional, firmer steel feel. The TOUR V-X offers low-launch, low-spin characteristics and is intended for players who have tested the V-X Lite and want more mass.
- Weights: 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, and 130 grams
- Flexes: R, R+, S, S+, X, and Tour Spec X (TX)
- Tip options: .355″ taper tip and .370″ parallel tip

KBS TOUR V-X Lite
A players' model shaft engineered to bring V-X stability to the lightweight steel category, which has historically required players to trade control for weight savings. The V-X Lite targets what the Company calls the "next generation" player: golfers generating higher clubhead speed who want a lighter platform without sacrificing the piercing flight and tight dispersion associated with heavier steel.
