Gilmore joined the firm in 2017 and has over 15 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions advisory, public accounting, valuation, and corporate finance assignments. She specializes in working with businesses in Architecture, Engineering, and various trades sectors on sell-side transactions. As a Certified Public Accountant, Gilmore began her career at KPMG LLP, where she audited a wide range of businesses from small non-profits to large Fortune 100 companies. She also previously worked at a multi-strategy hedge fund within fund accounting and valuation, and is a CFA Charterholder. Since joining Capstone, Gilmore's industry knowledge and expertise has helped many clients navigate exits and strategic transactions. Most recently, she advised full-service electrical contractor RK Electric on its sale to private equity firm Huron Capital and land planning and civil engineering firm Poulos & Bennett on its partnership with Pape-Dawson Engineers.
