Campaign raises $265,000 to support local Special Olympics programs GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Food solutions company SpartanNash® (the "Company") (Nasdaq: SPTN) is proud to announce the success of its annual in-store fundraiser, which raised $265,000 for Special Olympics programs across nine states. The funds, donated by store guests, Associates and the SpartanNash Foundation, will help provide year-round support for thousands of athletes, empowering them to compete, train and thrive in inclusive sports environments. The funds raised in each community will directly support local programming, training and competition fees for Special Olympics athletes in Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. From March 19 through April 14, guests at participating SpartanNash-operated stores and fuel centers were invited to donate an additional $1, $5, or $10 at checkout. Donations were also accepted online, making participation easy and accessible.
