BUCHANAN, Va., May 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of Botetourt (OTCPK: BORT and OTCPK: BORTP) celebrated the grand opening of its newest full-service branch at Melrose Plaza in Northwest Roanoke with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by city officials, community leaders, and local partners on Friday, May 9th. The event marked a major milestone for the Bank and a significant investment in one of the city's most resilient and vibrant communities. The 2,600-square-foot branch is the Bank's first location in the City of Roanoke. The new office features a 24/7 ATM, three newly hired employees. It provides not only traditional banking services but also free one-on-one financial coaching to help individuals and families build a stronger financial future. Melrose Plaza is a major redevelopment project led by Goodwill Industries of the Valleys that is transforming a former retail space into a hub for essential community services, including access to healthy food, education, wellness, culture, and now financial empowerment. The Bank joins existing tenants such as Market on Melrose and the Melrose Branch Library, with additional services including the Excel Center, Wellness on Melrose, and the Harrison Museum of African American Culture scheduled to open later this summer.
