Salesforce will be the official Make-A-Wish donation match partner for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September PHOENIX, Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Make-A-Wish America today announced a national partnership with Salesforce (NYSE: CRM), the world's #1 AI CRM, to bring hope and joy to children battling critical illnesses. As part of its support, Salesforce will serve as the official matching gift partner for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM) this September, helping inspire additional donations that will make a meaningful impact in communities nationwide. For the next three years, Salesforce will contribute $1 million annually to help grant life-changing wishes for children and their families. The commitment will serve to expand outreach, fund more wishes, and support the goal to reach every eligible child. "We are proud to welcome Salesforce as a national corporate partner in our mission to bring hope to children battling critical illnesses," said Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America. "Every wish we grant has the power to uplift not only the child, but their entire community. Yet for every wish fulfilled, two more children are still waiting. With Salesforce's deep commitment to social impact, we're poised to reach more families, faster, creating powerful moments of strength and joy when they're needed most." Each September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month draws attention to the impact of cancer on children and their families, with approximately 15,000 new cases diagnosed annually. At Make-A-Wish, cancer is the leading qualifying condition among children with critical illnesses in the United States. This year, Salesforce has pledged to match all donations made throughout the month to ensure more children can experience a wish, because the impact of a wish can mark a turning point in a child's treatment and recovery. "Supporting the health and welfare of children has been at the heart of our philanthropy at Salesforce," said Salesforce Chair and CEO Marc Benioff. "Make-A-Wish does extraordinary work bringing light to children and families during some of their hardest moments. We're proud to stand alongside them to help turn more wishes into reality." The partnership will also include employee engagement opportunities, storytelling campaigns, and co-branded activations during significant events such as World Wish Month.
